DEAR QUEENS is not only dedicated to encouraging women to tap into the true Queens they are, but to acknowledging and celebrating those who are currently doing that. QUEENS UNVEILED is the highlight reel of ordinary woman doing extraordinary things. We may not be CEO's, judges or celebrities - yet! - but the work we're putting in now will get us there. QUEENS UNVEILED is the space to acknowledge all those amazing women making the best of the cards they've been dealt.
If you know any woman who is:
- working (hard) toward creating the life they desire (and deserve)
- destroying their mistakes + defeating the odds
- excelling professionally, personally and/or spiritually
- and, helping others while doing it
Submissions should include:
- headshot: send in your girl's best picture, not the one from her "tagged photos"!
- her story: include a quick background so we know exactly how she overcame her circumstance
- accolades: what makes this Queen so flippin' awesome?! Please don't be modest - you're submitting her for a reason. This is your chance to brag and boast about your friend's greatness! Don't be shy.
- career/personal/spiritual goals: tell us what she hopes to do with her life, so we can connect it to what she's currently doing
- best attributes: why is she your friend? Is it because of her selflessness? Her great advice? Because she knows how to lay your edges + eyebrows before a night out on-the-town? Tell us what makes her the great person she is so we can love her, too.
